the anise spice cakes smell similar to a spiced crumb cake with cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla and an amount of anise that is juuuuust enough to know it’s there, but is not at all overpowering which is easy to do with anise!
this batch was originally intended to be melted down and put into different batch for an entirely different bar - however once Heidi took the batch out of the mold and smelled how perfect it turned out she didn’t want to change it whatsoever! So.. a bakery treat they became and my goodness are they gorgeous.
topped with soap drizzle,cardamom seed, anise seeds, a little sugar, lightly dusted with a copper shimmer mica.
