soap deets

the 2025 holiday soap line up!

Candy cane lane

When I think of classic Christmas smells aside from pine… three that come to mind instantly are vanilla, cinnamon and peppermint. … so that’s exactly what this cute little bar is. With candy cane swirled trees like you’re on a walk through a peppermint forest built on cinnamon vanilla grounds.. It smells like our popular anniversary bar with a tablespoon or three of vanilla baked into it ;)

This bar is smooth with no exfoliants.

Frosted gingerbread

You know, these sorts of scents aren’t really my thing personally.. I like earthy, light, hardly scented soaps.. HOWEVER… lol I brought a little chunk of this soap home to try and I must admit, it definitely surprised me!! This bar is reeeeally nice. It’s all the warm gingerbread spicy notes with a deep rich vanilla blended in. I really, really like this one.

This bar is mildly scrubby from ground flaxseed.

Igloo

Fresh eucalyptus and mint make this soap one of the most refreshing bars this season. I wanted this bar to be fun, crispy, and feel like winter! I love the shade of icy blue and think it suits the scent perfectly. This bar is smooth with no exfoliants.

Whoville

I wanted this years Christmas line up to be colorful and classic.. revisiting my childhood memories of my favorite Christmas movies and memories. So of course whoville had to be part of it. Originally I had different plans for the whoville bar.. and this bar was going to be called something else.. but every time I looked at it all I could see were the colors of whoville!  So.. whoville it is!

This bar is a mildly scented pure peppermint bar smooth with no exfoliants.

Grinch

Ahhh this adorable soap was out a couple of years ago and was quite a hit! We tapped into the grinches softer side this year and left out the scrubby ground loofa bits! The scent blend of grinch is a refreshing blend of lime, lemon, basil and mint. Individually hand carved and painted hearts make no two bars the same ;)

Sweet cream coffee

Imagine a 16 oz mug .. with one shot of espresso and 15 oz of cream. lol that is this bar.

It’s super sweet creamy vanilla scent paired with rich whole milk and unrefined cocoa butter make this bar the ultimate sweet cream coffee bar.. there are also some pretty coarse coffee grounds scattered between the layers so be warned.. it’s not as smooth as it is sweet!!

Cabin coffee

.. daaaark coffee brewed over open flame - sipped from

A tin mug while by the fire in a cabin in the middle of the woods, in the middle of nowhere. Yeah. You get the idea.

I knew I wanted a couple of coffee bars this year.. and for some reason I just kept wanting a deep, dark, super fine ground coffee bar with a hint of earthy something in it. I wound up choosing cedar and it wound up one of my favorite bars this year!!

The scent is not super strong, and those are my personal favorite sorts of soap. I like subtle notes and I love a good scrubby bar!!

Pizzelle

This bar is pretty much a staple at Bodygoodies holiday season …. Made with anise and orange oil… stamped with a vintage pizzelle iron.  Yes, it’s here again :) and has quite a big fan club.  This bar smells just like a pizzelle and is smooth with no exfoliants.

Old fashioned Christmas

This is one of the first bars I knew I was making this year. Classic Christmas colors, classic Christmas scent. Think hobby shop, tree farm, Christmas candles, etc.. basically I wanted kraynaks christmasland in a bar soap form. ( for those of you who aren’t local, kraynaks is a local shop that has been around foreeeeeeever and is well known for their elaborate Christmas display. It is a huge part of my childhood and is a tradition locally for soooooooo many people.)

Kraynaks has its own scent at Christmas time..  all of the holiday decor for sale combined I’m sure is responsible for the scent when you walk in… and this blend is the closest I could get to being back at kraynaks at 8 years old ;)

This bar is smooth with no exfoliants.

Narnias closet

Wow, ok so this one is hard to describe. The scent blend on this one is actually lavender and coconut— however, when those two oils come together they create such a unique scent it’s almost magical.  I wanted this bar to look soft and subtle and let the scent be the rockstar… because it is. This bar also has some extra lathery goodness from coconut milk so it can be the fluffy little magic chunk of soap it is.

This bar is smooth with no exfoliants, however I did make two separate batches of this so half of the bars do have some coconut shreds on the top which may be a short lived mild scrub within its first couple of uses.

That 70s bar

If you grew up in the 70s, chances are this print will remind you of maybe some curtains,  or your grandmas sofa… Ahhh i love this soap, of course I do.. it’s a patchouli bar ;) brought together with sweet orange and scotch pine. The aesthetics of this bar simply had to reflect my favorite colors and pattern from the 70s! This bar is smooth with no exfoliants.

TimberLodge

Cedarwood, vetiver and cassia with a mild scrub from ground flaxseed! This bar first graced our shelves last holiday season and was so popular it was the first bar I remade in January! We love this one.. and it definitely had a reason to come back again this year!

Frank and orange

Frankincense and sweet orange topped with some little gold nuggets. This bar debuted last year and it quickly gained some fans! So.. I made it again this year. Just like TimberLodge … it had a reason to come back - so it did ;)

This bar is smooth with no exfoliants.

monster chunk mint PINK

just like your favorite bar of monster chunk mint but in a bright pink edition just for the fun of it!

lavender milk

this bar made its first appearance a few months ago and was an instant hit... i knew it would be coming back for the holiday season as it is such a simple, pure, gentle and amazing soap that would be really great for gift giving! actually, this bar is so good it may just stick around forever. ;)

The mini bars

I made all of these to go together nicely.. whether it’s all 6, a set of three or a pair of 2… they’re all really complimentary… after making them i knew I’d be making them again.. so.. Ive already put into my plans for next year to bring all of these back as full sized bars.

white mini bar = anise vanilla

blue mini bar = spearmint

orange mini bar = orange cedar

pink mini bar = lavender myrrh

green mini bar -= frankincense myrrh

purple mini bar = sugar plum

All mini bars are smooth with no exfoliants.

One hit wonder bars -

These.. well.. these are all just fun, and all somewhat holiday themed in one way or another. From pine to mint to sweet chocolate.. these were all made from my scraps from all of the other bars made this year! There are not specific names given to these bars, and they range in size and price from 3-8 oz and $6-16 ( but tomorrow no soap in the shop is over 12!! ) .. you’ll find them all mixed together and can have fun digging through the pile to find your perfect bar!

these soaps will NOT be available online.

These random mixes of soaps may contain some exfoliating properties.

Surprise! Bar… yep, still keeping this one a secret. It’s just something I love to do every year. i love surprises and this bar is one of them. It’s blue and gray, it’s a clean crisp scent and there is a little white shimmery ball on top ;) you’ll have to find it when you come in!

This bar will NOT be listed online tomorrow. it’s an in-store only release.

Another surprise is— we are releasing any bar of the month club bars that weren’t committed to subscriptions from the past couple of months! So if you missed your opportunity to join the club early on.. here’s your chance to get the bars you may have missed!

I was going to include in this post all of the other products and such I’ve made as well… but, I think I’ll leave it to maddi to disclose those surprises one by one tomorrow as our day begins!

I will say — there are new scents that have never been made before… and instead of making a small amount of a lot of things.. .. I focused on a large amount of a few things… so hopefully we aren’t selling out of stuff on day one of our holiday release ;)

See you tomorrow!!

Until next,

-Heidi
